Stephanie Gilmore wins the Cascais Women’s Pro in Portugal to go top with one race to go.
Five time world champion, Stephanie Gilmore, is now in a all Australian three way race to become this years ASP World Tour champion. Her fellow Aussie contenders are Tyler Wright and Sally Fitzgibbons, who she beat in Cascais, Portugal with the only 9 point ride of the day.
Gilmore, who struggled most of the day, managed to find two ‘decent scoring rides’ to take her to top spot.
The final event of the year will be the Target Maui Pro, starting on November 22.
